BACKGROUND
At its June 2022 meeting, the Technology Task Force identified several projects they would like to pursue.
The creation of a technology expo and networking event where local businesses and citizens can showcase
their work and learn about how the latest technologies are being used in the community was discussed.
Task force members also discussed potential opportunities to partner with the Chamber of Commerce,
Dakota County Technical College, and neighboring cities and counties. Staff recommends the task force
discusses goals for this expo and begins to develop a timeline for implementation.
