REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
JULY 12, 2022
CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the meeting of the Environment & Sustainability Commission
(ESC) of the City of Rosemount was called to order on July 12, 2022, at 5:37 p.m. in the Council
Chambers, City Hall, 2875 145th Street West, Rosemount.
Attendees included: Commission Chair Victoria Schlautman, Commissioners Renee Burman, and
Commissioner Eric Johnson., and Commissioner Kristen Andrews. Commissioners Tina Angerer and
Erin Delaney were absent.
Staff present included the following;
- Stormwater Specialist Byron
ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO AGENDA
Commissioner Burman requested that following the meeting, the Commission tour the new organic
drop site.
Motion by Schlautman Second by Andrews
Motion to approve tour of organics drop site following meeting.
Ayes: 4.
Nays: None. Motion carried.
Commissioner Schlautman requested that item be added for the September meeting to discuss goals
reallocation.
Motion by Schlautman Second by Burman
Motion to approve goals work session date discussion.
Ayes: 4.
Nays: None. Motion carried.

7.a. Leprechaun Days Discussion
Commissioners discussed promoting Kickoff Event for organics drop site at Leprechaun Days
booth. Kickoff Event will take place on August 20, 2022 from 9 a.m.-noon at Rosemount Public
Works Facility, 14455 Brazil Ave.

Commissioners reviewed topics and materials for booth.
7.b Work Session Date Discussion
Commissioners discussed potential meeting dates and times for future work session.
Motion by Andrews Second by Burman
Motion to hold work session following regular meeting on September 13, 2022.
Ayes: 4.
Nays: None. Motion carried.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Stormwater Specialist Byron noted that a guest speaker from Vermillion River Watershed Joint
Powers Organization will be attending the August meeting.
The City is partnering with Soil and Water Conservation District to install a rain garden at Jaycee
Park in the parking median.

Commissioner Schlautman requested item be added to discuss Leprechaun Days insights.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Environment & Sustainability Commission and
upon a motion by Schlautman and a second by Andrews the meeting was adjourned at 6:44 p.m.
Commissioners then toured the new organics drop site.
