DISCUSSION
The Environment and Sustainability Commission (ESC) developed an Education & Outreach Calendar for
2022. It is a working document that will be updated as the year progresses. Some outreach items will be
assigned to specific commissioners for completion, such as some of the blog posts. The intent of this item
is to review the calendar for updates and share ideas. Highlights are below:
1. August 22 blog post – Adopt-a-Drain by VRWJPO
2. September planned blog post – yard waste disposal
3. Early October planned blog post: We Are Water MN by VRWJPO
4. Holidays/events of note
a. September 17 – Food Truck Festival
b. October – National Energy Awareness Month

SUMMARY
Assign education activities for fall.
