RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve Change Order #2 for the UMore Ballfield
Project
BACKGROUND
In the spring of 2021, the City Council awarded a bid for the second phase of the UMore Ballfield Project.
The project is coming to an end, but during the construction of the project a few changes have been
needed that have resulted in staff requesting the City Council to consider approving change order #2.
The total amount of the change order #2 is $986.60. Please see the attached change order form and
architect letter for further details.
The minor improvement adds a small portion of the concrete to the new batting cage placed at Shannon
Park, which was change order #1 for the UMore Ballfield Project.
As you may recall, during the UMore Ballfield project, RAAA Traveling Baseball made a donation to the
City of Rosemount to cover the cost of a batting cage at the UMore site and for a cage to be added to
Shannon Park.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff is recommending the City Council approve Change Order #2 for the UMore Ballfield Project.
