RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution to Accept Bella Vista 3rd Addition, City
Project 464, Public Improvements for Perpetual Maintenance.
BACKGROUND
Staff is in the process of reviewing and closing out projects that were completed in the past years, but not
previously accepted via Council action. At this time the city has been maintaining the infrastructure
completed as part of this subdivision for several years and any corrections by the developer have been
completed.
Public improvements installed as part of Bella Vista 3rd Addition, City Project 464, included streets,
sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer. This subdivision was completed between 2015 construction
season, with the wear course paved in 2016. All improvements were completed as designed and have
been in use with no latent defects. Final close out of the project fund was completed on December 14,
2017.
RECOMMENDATION
Upon City acceptance of the work, the public improvements constructed in Bella Vista 3rd Addition, City
Project 464, shall become City property per the subdivision agreement. Staff recommends that City
Council adopt the resolution accepting the improvements for perpetual maintenance.

A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT
FOR BELLA VISTA 3RD ADDITION
CITY PROJECT 464
WHEREAS, the developer has submitted documentation for City acceptance of the public
improvements, and;
WHEREAS, the City finds the improvements acceptable, and;
WHEREAS, the developer has prepared final close out documents as necessary.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, Minnesota. The work completed
under said agreement is hereby accepted for perpetual maintenance and ownership.
ADOPTED this 20th day of September, 2022.
