ATTACHMENTS: Location Map and Site Plan APPROVED BY: dis RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to collect cash in-lieu of land for the parks dedication in the amount of $562,500. ISSUE The Parks and Recreation Department recently reviewed the development plans for the Roers Companies apartment complex project. After reviewing the plans, the Parks and Recreation Department staff has the following comments: PARI<S DEDICATION The parks dedication requirement for 225 high density residential units is .02 acres of land per unit or $2,500 per unit. The City's Parks Master Plan does not call for a park in this area, so staff is recommending the City collect cash in-lieu of land to meet the parks dedication requirements for the 225 units. The cash dedication for 225 units would be $562,500 (225 units x $2,500 per unit). RECOMMENDATION Motion to collect cash in-lieu of land for the parks dedication in the amount of $562,500 for the Roers Development project.
