REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
September 13, 2022
CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the meeting of the Environment & Sustainability Commission
(ESC) of the City of Rosemount was called to order on September 13, 2022, at 5:33 p.m. in the Council
Chambers, City Hall, 2875 145th Street West, Rosemount.
Attendees included:
Commission Chair Victoria Schlautman, Commissioners Renee Burman, Eric Johnson.,
Kristen Andrews, Tina Angerer, Erin Delaney, and Neal Shoe.
Staff present included the following;
City Engineer Erickson and Stormwater Specialist Byron
ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO AGENDA
None.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
4.a. Motion by Angerer Second by Andrews
Motion to approve the minutes of the August 17, 2022 Environment and Sustainability
Commission meeting.
Ayes: 7.
Nays: None. Motion carried.
PRESENTATIONS

OLD BUSINESS
6.a. 2022 Goals Updates
Commissioners discussed progress and updates on the 2022 goals.
6.b. 2022 Education & Outreach Calendar
Commissioners discussed updates to the education and outreach calendar. The September blog post
is ready for review and approval, and the VRWJPO will post a blog regarding the “We Are Water
MN” traveling exhibit locations and dates in Dakota County.
Commissioner Delaney indicated she would like to do a presentation at the November meeting on
pollinator overwintering.
NEW BUSINESS
7.a. Rosemount High School Environmental Club Briefing
Commissioner Delaney noted the Rosemount High School (RHS) Environmental Club is receiving
national attention for their work on a project to install a solar array on school grounds. The RHS
Environmental Club is interested in presenting this project to the ESC. Commissioner Schlautman
recommended reaching out the RHS Environmental Club for their availability for presenting to the
ESC after December.

10/6 at Minneapolis Central Library.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Environment & Sustainability Commission and
upon a motion by Johnson and a second by Delaney the meeting was adjourned at 6:39 p.m.
