ATTACHMENTS: Resolution, Acceptance Letter, Location Map APPROVED BY: LJM RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution to Accept Biscayne Business Park, City Project 2019-11, Public Improvements for Perpetual Maintenance. BACKGROUND Public improvements installed as part of Biscayne Business Park, City Project 2019-11, included sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer. The street is private. This subdivision was completed during the 2020 construction season, with the wear course paved in 2021. Staff has requested final documentation required for public acceptance including lien waivers and as-built record drawings and Bolton & Menk, Inc., the City’s inspector for the project, submitted a letter indicating all work is in alignment with the specifications and standards, and recommends acceptance of the public improvements. RECOMMENDATION Upon City acceptance of the work, the public improvements constructed in Biscayne Business Park, City Project 2019-11, shall become City property per the subdivision agreement. Staff recommends that City Council adopt the resolution accepting the improvements for perpetual maintenance. CITY OF ROSEMOUNT DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 2022 – XX A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FOR BISCAYNE BUSINESS PARK CITY PROJECT 2019-11 WHEREAS, the developer has requested City acceptance of the public improvements, and; WHEREAS, the City received a letter from Bolton & Menk, Inc. confirming the public improvements were installed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and finds the improvements acceptable, and; WHEREAS, the developer is preparing final close out documents to include warranty bonds, a final payment voucher, and as-built record drawings. BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, Minnesota. The work completed under said agreement is hereby accepted for perpetual maintenance and ownership. The development of 8 lot business park on 15.32-acres was proposed by Appro Development with the improvements consisting of a sanitary sewer extension, watermain extension, storm water management, and implementation of a 900’ cul de sac to become 157th St. The improvements were designed by ISG and inspected by Bolton & Menk in accordance with the City’s Standard Specifications and Engineering Guidelines. The public improvements were constructed by Northern Lines, Inc. Bolton & Menk recommends approval and acceptance of the street & utility improvements.
