DISCUSSION
The Environment and Sustainability Commission (ESC) developed an Education & Outreach Calendar for
2022. It is a working document that will be updated as the year progresses. Some outreach items will be
assigned to specific commissioners for completion, such as some of the blog posts. The intent of this item
is to review the calendar for updates and share ideas. Highlights are below:
1. November 4 blog post – Energy Audits
2. December 9 blog post – Smart Salting
3. January blog post ideas:
a. Low waste New Year’s party
b. Green resolutions: top 10 list, certifications, pledges

4. February blog post ideas:
a. Landscaping for Clean Water and buffer installation and wetland protection
