RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to appoint Council Member Freske to the position
of Acting Mayor for the City of Rosemount for the year 2023
BACKGROUND
Mayor Weisensel recommends the appointment of Council Member Freske as Acting Mayor for the
year 2023. All statutory cities are required to annually appoint a Council Member to the position of
Acting Mayor to conduct meetings in the Mayor's absence.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Council adopt a motion appointing Council Member Freske to the position
of Acting Mayor for the City of Rosemount for the year 2023.
