Minutes of the January 10, 2023 Regular MeetingROSEMOUNT CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING PROCEEDINGS JANUARY 10, 2023 CALL TO ORDER Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Rosemount City Council was held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in Rosemount Council Chambers 2875 145th Street West. Mayor-Elect Weisensel called the meeting to order with Councilmember Essler and Freske attending. Staff present included the following; • Chief of Police Dahlstrom • City Administrator Martin APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Weisensel Second by Essler Motion to Adopt the Agenda Ayes: 3. Nays: None. Motion carried. OATH OF OFFICE City Clerk Fasbender administered the Oath of Office to Councilmember Essler and Mayor Weisensel. PRESENTATIONS, PROCLAMATIONS AND ACKNOWLEDGMENTS 3.a. Police Officer Oath of Office Chief Dahlstrom introduced the two new Police Officers; Anis Ahmetovic and Ashley Rosel. PUBLIC COMMENT None CONSENT AGENDA Motion by Freske Second by Essler Motion to approve consent agenda items a. Bills Listing b. Minutes of the December 20 2022 Regular Meeting c. Designation of Official Newspaper d. Appointment of Acting Mayor e. Naming of Depositories & Financial Institutions f. Annual Electronic Funds Transfer Authorization g. Approval of City Council Travel h. Declare Two Vacancies on the City Council i. Approve a Subdivision Agreement for Prestwick Place 24th Addition Ayes: Essler, Weisensel, Freske Nays: None. Motion carried. ROSEMOUNT CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING PROCEEDINGS JANUARY 10, 2023 ANNOUNCEMENTS 10.a. Staff Updates City Administrator Martin noted the City Council has two vacancies and applications for those interested in serving on the City Council will be accepted until January 13th. Public Works Director Egger provide an update of the latest snowplowing events. 10.b. Upcoming Community Calendar Mayor Weisensel reviewed the calendar of events and upcoming meetings. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the City Council at the regular council meeting and upon a motion by Essler and a second by Freske the meeting was at 7:23 p.m. Respectfully submitted, Erin Fasbender City Clerk
