SPECIAL WORK SESSION PROCEEDINGS
JANUARY 1 7, 2023
CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special work session of the Rosemount City Council was
held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 7:35 pm at Rosemount City Hall, Conference Room, 2875
145th Street West.
Mayor Weisensel called the meeting to order with Councilmember Freske and Essler.
DISCUSSION
2.a. Establish preliminary plan for 2023 Strategic Planning Process
Mayor Weisensel requested to do a check-in regarding planning for goal setting on March 8th in
order to be the most productive with everyone’s time.
Councilmember Freske suggested staff prepare a list of items that staff would like to address at the
goal setting session. The list will be provided to councilmembers ahead of the goal setting session to
further review.
2.b. City Council Calendar
Mayor Weisensel suggested to have an additional calendar for councilmembers that will share
additional meeting details as well as out of offices for councilmembers.
Staff will create an outlook calendar and share with councilmembers and provide a print out of the
calendar at each work session.
Councilmembers also discussed ways to engage with the public in the future.
ADJOURNMENT
Upon a motion by Weisensel, second by Essler the meeting was unanimously adjourned at 8:21 pm.
