Members Absent: John DeBettignies, Sharry Angell and Jim Young
Staff Present: Dan Schultz, Director of Parks and Recreation

1. CALL TO ORDER: Eliason called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.
2. ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO THE AGENDA: None
3. APPROVE MEETING MINUTES: March 28, 2022
Approved by Speich, Second by McDonald. Ayes: 6 Nays: 0
4. AUDIENCE INPUT: None
5. DISCUSSION (Response to Audience Input): None
6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
a. Skate Park Landscape Improvements - MOTION by Schaap to move forward with getting an
updated quote on just the stonework, seating and hardscape areas. SECOND by Flury.
Ayes: 6 Nays: 0 Motion passed.
7. NEW BUSINESS:
a. Selection of Chair and Vice Chair:
MOTION by McDonald to have Mike Eliason serve as Parks and Recreation Commission Chair
from May of 2022 – April of 2023. SECOND by Flury.
Ayes: 6 Nays: 0 Motion passed.
MOTION by Eliason to have James Bonkoski serve as Parks and Recreation Commission Vice
Chair from May of 2022 – April of 2023. SECOND by Schaap.
Ayes: 6 Nays: 0 Motion passed.
b. Director’s Report
Park Improvement Fund Balance as of March 31, 2022: $3,500,884.24
Inflows to the Park Improvement Fund last month were as follows:
Dedication fees – $0
Grants/Other - $0
Interest - $365.63
Donations - $0
Expenditures - $3763.09 (Skate Park improvements, Bella Vista Trail project & Dunmore Park design)
8. ADJOURNMENT - MOTION by Speich to adjourn the meeting. SECOND by Bonkoski
Ayes: 6 Nays: 0 Motion passed. The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
