BACKGROUND
Started in 2018, the Annual Rosemount Expo brings together community members of all ages to promote
local businesses, help residents plan for a home improvement project, and to bring one another together as
winter turns to spring. The event also hosts a variety of family fun activities like door prizes, balloon
artistry, a coffee cart, and food trucks.
This year’s Rosemount Expo was hosted at the Rosemount Community Center on Saturday, March 18 th
with a shortened time of 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. The Expo hosted 58 businesses, nonprofits, community
organizations, and City departments , including several new businesses and non -profits. The Rosemount
Expo was attended by over 500 residents, even with the shortened time frame and record cold
temperatures . In total, the Expo brought in nearly $11,000, which exceeded expenses by roughly $3,360.
Community Development Technician Riley Rooney will provide the Port Authority with an overview of
the 2023 Rosemount Expo.
