Commissioners shared the positives and challenges of bringing a STEAM facility to
Rosemount. Some of the positives are that it's unique to our city, jobs for teens,
mentorship opportunities, and the involvement of local schools. Some of the
challenges noted were balancing the core values of the city, financing, and how much
of a need there is for such a facility. All Commissioners agreed that a market analysis
would need to be completed as well.
New Business
a. Leadership Lesson - What Shape is your Leadership?
Mayor Weisensel and Commissioners completed the Leadership Lesson; What Shape is
your Leadership? Each member discussed what shape initially appealed to them and
why. They explained how their leadership style is expressed in a certain shape and
what their shape would transform into if it were a three-dimensional shape.

Commissioners shared updates on school and Winter Break.
